Refund policy

At Haritual, we stand behind every product we ship. Each idol, mala, and gifting piece goes through careful quality checks before it leaves our warehouse. However, if something isn't right, we're here to make it easy for you.

We offer a 7-day return and replacement window from the date of delivery, because we are confident in what we sell, and we want you to be too.

Not applicable to bulk orders. For bulk order concerns, please contact us directly at support@haritual.in. 

Eligible Reasons for Return or Replacement

We accept return or replacement requests under the following circumstances:

  • You received a damaged or broken product: verified via unboxing video
  • You received a wrong item, different from what you ordered: verified via unboxing video
  • The product has a manufacturing defect that is clearly visible and not caused by handling
  • The product supplied is significantly different from its description or images on the website

Important: An unboxing video is mandatory to initiate any return or replacement claim. Claims submitted without an unboxing video cannot be processed. Please record the video at the time of opening your package, before removing protective wrapping.

What Is Not Eligible for Return

The following will not qualify for a return or replacement:

  • Returns requested due to personal preference, change of mind, or subjective quality expectations.
  • Returns due to size or dimension concerns, product dimensions are clearly mentioned in each product description; please review before purchasing.
  • Items that have been used, washed, cleaned, or handled beyond unboxing.
  • Items not in original condition must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging with all inserts intact.
  • Items returned after 7 days from the date of delivery.
  • Items with minor natural variations in colour, texture, or finish. These are inherent to handcrafted and plated products and are not defects.
  • Items where dimension variance is within 5% or 2cm (whichever is higher) of the stated measurement.
  • Rudraksha malas, karungali products, and spiritual pendants that have been worn or used.
  • Products purchased during clearance sales or marked as final sale.

Conditions for a Valid Return 

For your return to be accepted, all of the following must be true:

  • Request raised within 7 days of delivery.
  • An unboxing video was submitted shows the sealed package being opened, and the issue is clearly visible.
  • Product is in original, unused condition with all original packaging, inserts, and tags intact.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or invoice) is provided.
  • The product has not been tampered with or damaged after delivery.

How to Initiate a Return or Replacement

Follow these steps to raise a request:

  • Email us at support@haritual.in or via WhatsApp within 7 days of delivery.
  • Share your Order ID, unboxing video, and clear photos of the product and its packaging.
  • Our team will review your request within 2 business days and confirm eligibility.
  • If approved, we will schedule a reverse pickup from your doorstep at no cost to you.
  • Once the product is received and passes our quality inspection, we will process your replacement or refund within 5–7 business days.

Replacements

Where an eligible return is approved, and the same product is available in stock, we will dispatch a replacement unit at no additional cost. Replacement orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

If the original product is out of stock, we will offer you one of the following:

  • A store credit (gift card) for the full order value, valid for 6 months
  • A refund to the original payment source, in eligible cases (see Section 6)

Refunds 

Our default resolution for approved returns is store credit, issued as a discount code or gift card for the full value of the returned item, valid for 6 months with no restrictions on usage.

Refunds to the original payment method (bank account via UPI or Net Banking) are issued in the following exceptional cases only:

  • The item ordered is out of stock, and no replacement is possible.
  • The customer has received an incorrect or damaged item more than once for the same order
  • Delivery was delayed by several weeks, with no resolution from our logistics partner

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Depending on your bank, the amount may take an additional 3–5 working days to reflect in your account.

Note: COD charges and shipping charges (where applicable) are non-refundable.

COD & Prepaid Order Returns

COD orders: Refunds for eligible COD orders are processed to the customer's bank account via NEFT/UPI. Haritual reserves the right to decline future COD orders from customers who have previously refused delivery without a valid reason. 

Prepaid orders: Refunds are credited back to the original payment source or issued as store credit, as per the resolution agreed upon.

Refused or undelivered orders: If a prepaid order is returned due to customer refusal or unavailability, the shipping and return logistics cost will be deducted from the refund amount. Redelivery of the same order will incur additional shipping charges.

Damaged in Transit

We pack every order with protective material to minimize transit damage. In the unlikely event that your product arrives visibly damaged:

  • Do not discard the outer packaging
  • Record a clear video showing the outer packaging and the damaged product
  • Contact us at support@haritual.in within 48 hours of delivery with the video and photos

Transit-damaged items are prioritized for same-product replacement. We will initiate a claim with our logistics partner and arrange a replacement dispatch at the earliest.

Order Cancellations 

  • Orders can be cancelled only before they are packed or dispatched. Once the shipment is picked up, cancellation is not possible.
  • To cancel an order, contact us immediately at support@haritual.in or via WhatsApp with your Order ID.
  • If the order has already been dispatched, it will be treated as a return once it is delivered.
